Experience

  1. Lead Software Engineer

The Valor Solution · New York, NY

    Feb 2025 — Present

    • Sole technical leader for company-wide platform migration from RPA to a code-based architecture, directly enabling $1M+ ARR and unlocking the ability to scale.
    • Architected and built an AI-powered healthcare fax processing system handling 20,000–70,000 faxes/month using AWS Textract, OpenAI APIs, Lambda, EventBridge, and EKS microservices. Reduced clinic staff processing time from two minutes per fax to zero — eliminating hundreds of manual hours weekly.
    • Built Playwright-based Python automation (ECS) to programmatically upload processed documents into eClinicalWorks EMR, fully automating the document-to-EMR pipeline.
    • Designed and implemented a charge-entry system processing $500K/month in pharmacy prescriptions via Liberty API integration, including patient intake registration and refill workflows.
    • Designed system architecture and established AWS multi-account infrastructure using Control Tower and Organizations. Created isolated dev/staging/prod environments on EKS with security tooling (CrowdStrike).
    • Grew and led a team of 12 engineers. Established code-review standards, sprint processes, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and 100% unit-test coverage for all deployments.
  2. Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

    Reelay · Scottsdale, AZ

    May 2023 — Feb 2025

    • Led development of a flagship AI meeting assistant integrating Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom via REST APIs. Automated transcription and analysis for 900+ daily meetings; achieved the company’s first 500 connected calendars. The tool turned raw transcripts into action items, decisions, follow-up tasks, and a Meeting Minutes docx — saving customers hours per week.
    • Built a Node.js / Express AI transcription microservice using AssemblyAI for transcription and OpenAI for extraction. Wrote the prompts that produced results customers said were better than competing services — driving switch-overs from those services to ours.
    • Architected and built a React web application for organizations and end users to view, edit, and delete meetings, manage bots, sync calendars, and manage Stripe subscriptions. Includes Microsoft Azure AD SSO integration.
  3. Frontend Developer → Team Lead

    AdviNOW Medical · Scottsdale, AZ

    Mar 2021 — May 2023

    • Led development of a React app for patient check-in and triage, migrating from a slow Angular app to a faster, more maintainable React app.
    • Promoted to team lead after one year to continue driving development on the platform.
